These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Ahmet Eren, the developer of Chef Fresh, based in the Republic of Türkiye ("we", "us", "our"). They also serve as the end-user license agreement (EULA) for the app. By downloading or using Chef Fresh you accept these Terms; if you don't agree, please don't use the app. How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy.
Chef Fresh helps you track your kitchen inventory, get expiry reminders, share a kitchen with people you choose, and add groceries with AI-powered scanning. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms and the app store's usage rules. Features may evolve, and we may modify or discontinue parts of the service over time.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Chef Fresh. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the app only with the involvement of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms. By using the app you confirm you meet these requirements.
You can use the app as a guest or sign in with Google or Apple. Guest data lives only on your device; signing in later moves it into your account so it can sync across devices. You are responsible for keeping your device and sign-in credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for spoiled food, allergic reactions, illness, or other harm resulting from reliance on app-generated content. You are responsible for verifying all information before acting on it.
Sharing a kitchen makes the shared inventory and your display name visible to its members, and any member can edit the shared items. Only invite people you trust; the kitchen owner may remove members. You are responsible for the content you add, and you must not use shared kitchens to harass others or to store unlawful, infringing, or harmful content. We may remove content or restrict access that violates these Terms.
Don't abuse the service: no attempts to break, overload, probe, or reverse-engineer the app or its servers (except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law), no circumventing subscription or free-scan limits, no automated or bulk access, and no use that violates applicable law or the rights of others.
The app, its name, design, and content (excluding your own data) belong to us and are protected by law. We grant you no rights other than the license in these Terms. Your data remains yours; by using shared kitchens you grant other members you invite the ability to view and edit the items you share, as described above.
You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time in Settings; what happens to your data is described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms or abuses the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, food spoilage, or health consequences arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim related to the app is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) USD 25. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you, and nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law or your mandatory consumer rights.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the app, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party right.

These terms apply when you obtain Chef Fresh from Google Play. Your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Google is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app; any subscription, billing, and refund matters on Google Play are handled under Google's policies.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights of your country of residence. Disputes will be subject to the courts of Türkiye, unless the mandatory law of your country gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere. Nothing here removes rights you cannot waive under local law.
We may update these Terms; the effective date above will change, and material updates will be communicated in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the new Terms.
